Watercolor for the Purist

Program Details

Audience: Intermediate to Advanced / Teen to Adult

This workshop will focus on purist watercolor techniques. Instruction will be given on how to paint with percolator from a technical skill perspective. We will us transparent wash overlays to create the painting without tricks or gimmicks. Some of the topics tht we will study and discuss are:
1. How to plan ahead

2. Formulating a step-by-step process to create the painting

3. Stretching paper and preparation of materials

4. Watercolor wash techniques and overlaying washes to build the painting.
