French Art Framing

Program Details

Audience: Beginner / Adults

Learn how to custom frame a picture or a painting or some handicraft for your home and see the difference between nice and awesome.  Discover the difference between American Framing and French Framing. by learning just two important techniques, you will be able to frame any artwork at home with all the creativity that paper and color can give you.

In this class you will learn the two basic technique for French Framing: The Paper Wrapped Mat technique  (Passe-Partout in French) which can be compared to a single-matting technique; and the English bevel technique, which is the equivalent of a thick bevel wrapped with paper.

At the end of the class, you will have created a unique custom frame.
