Program Details

Audience: Children aged 6-13


This class will explore design, form, texture, and color of the wonderful world of clay. Techniques in coil, slab building, pinch, and glazing will be covered to match each project every week.

Imagination, innovation and inspiration will be encouraged in each clay form.   

Each form will be glazed and fired at stoneware temperature of 2100. The children have so much fun; they don’t realize they’re learning! Certification of class is given to student who completes this course.

4/22-6/10 (short summer) or 6/17-8/26 (long summer session)

Cost

$200 + $20 Studio fee for short summer (8 weeks), $275 + $30 Studio fee for long summer session (11 weeks); cost is for child only
