Audience: Experience Required
Handbuilding is the heart of creating both sculptural and functional art forms with clay. This course will cover advanced techniques in coil, slab building, slump and hump molds, pinch and extruded forms with the development of balance and aesthetes. The surface and glaze decoration will be covered and explored to fit each form. The students will chose between low, mid-range, wood, and raku firing techniques. This class is designed for students who have taken Introduction to Handbuilding or similar classes.
